About Us
Women and Worthiness was born with a bit of magic. We were both leadership consultants and coaches who met while working together on a small project during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic. Our partnership felt easy and sweet, but we moved on to other things as our work pulled us in different directions.
Fast forward to September 2021—where we found ourselves serendipitously seated at the same table during a business event. We were joined by a woman neither of us had previously met. We were enjoying some light get-to-know-you conversation, when suddenly, our new friend, Karen, came to a full stop in mid-sentence, and shared this:
“I am an intuitive, and this may sound strange, but I just got a strong message that the two of you are meant to create a program together to support women and their sovereignty.”
We looked at each other, intrigued and openly delighted, and said, “Yes… let’s do it!”
Saying yes was easy. Working with women to build confidence, clarity, and wellness was a calling for both of us. We realized we were both deeply committed to supporting women in exploring, discovering, and celebrating their inherent worthiness. Our own journeys with self-worth have been hard-earned and transformative—and we’re passionate about sharing what we’ve learned.
As coaches, we believe that every person is naturally creative, resourceful, and whole. No one needs fixing.
Our mission is to offer tools, connection, practices, and inspiration that empower women to trust themselves, access their inner wisdom, and stay grounded in their value. Together, we founded our company and designed our Worthy Workshop to deliver these tools and insights and to build connection.
Special thanks to our friend Karen from The Healing Entrepreneur!
We’re so glad you’re here

Catherine Saar
CO-FOUNDER, MEDIATOR, FACILITATOR, AND LEADERSHIP COACH
I started my career in corporate America, first in finance and following business school, moved into marketing leadership at a variety of large and small companies. I noticed that the best parts of my days involved developing people. In 2008, when the economy hit a downturn, I had the opportunity to dig into this passion more fully. I started as a Life Coach with the Martha Beck Coaching program. After being recruited back into corporate life a few years later, I continued to pursue my passion for coaching and earned a wellness and an executive coaching certification and became an ICF certified coach.
While experiencing career success, I applied my coaching skills at work and with clients. Perhaps most importantly, I applied my learnings to my own challenges with worthiness, confidence and imposter syndrome. The nagging voice of my inner critic pushed me toward perfectionism. I was a chronic overachiever. This was great for my employers, but not so great for my health and well-being.
Fast forward past divorce and the loss of a child, I painstakingly worked to befriend my inner critics and turn them into allies. It continues to be a journey, not a destination. My fondest wish is to share what I have learned with other women, so that they may embody their worthiness with less struggle than I faced.
As a lifelong learner and seeker, I’ve been a Restorative Justice volunteer in my community since 2016. I also completed certification as a trauma-informed coach and Consultant and continue to delve into Internal Family Systems (IFS) tools and trainings.
Recently retired from full-time Leadership Development Consulting and Coaching work with Integrated Work, I now coach and mediate independently – and play pickleball in between.
My home is near Boulder, Colorado. I enjoy spending time with my grown son, friends, and my partner Bert biking, hiking and hanging out.
Kate Zappitelli
CO-FOUNDER, CERTIFIED COACH, AND LEADERSHIP CONSULTANT
I discovered my passion for coaching and leadership consulting nearly a decade ago. Since then, I’ve been fortunate to partner with individuals who are committed to personal growth and with leaders and teams who want to lead together better. It’s work that energizes me, challenges me, and connects deeply to my life’s purpose.
My own journey with self-worth and self-love is an ongoing, daily practice. Like many, I have an inner judge—one that can be harsh and say things I’d never say to anyone else. Over time, that voice has gotten quieter, and I’ve found rituals that help me reconnect with my leader within. These practices have helped me show up more fully—as a human, partner, mom, family member, friend, and colleague. Inner peace is my compass, and the tools I’ve gathered to stay grounded have been truly life changing.
I’m passionate about sharing those tools—and learning from others as they discover how to quiet their inner critics and shine more brightly in the world.
In 2022, I became a Certified Professional Co-Active Coach (CPCC) through the Co-Active Training Institute and also earned my Associate Certified Coach (ACC) credential through the International Coaching Federation.
I currently serve as a Principal Consultant at Karrikins Group and Chair of the Alignment Institute®, a premier leadership development academy dedicated to helping leaders move beyond agreement and lead through influence.
I’m also a longtime advocate and ally for social justice, with over 20 years of experience supporting organizations and initiatives in this space. I’m a CliftonStrengths facilitator, Reiki practitioner, and hold a master’s degree from New York University.
Home is Denver, Colorado, where I live with my husband, sister, two daughters, cat, and our sweet mini Australian Labradoodle.
